Getting started

  1. In Obsidian, go to Settings → Community plugins, search for "Copilot" and install it
  2. In Settings → Copilot → Basic → Agents, download OpenCode, auto-detect Claude Code, or add the Codex adapter
  3. Click the Agent ribbon icon or run "Open Copilot Agent Chat window"

Before you install

No Copilot plan is needed with your own agent account, provider key or local model; hosted models and multi-agent require paid access. Free OpenCode Zen models may log or train on prompts, so check before sending sensitive content.
