Getting started

Grant your terminal Full Disk Access under System Settings > Privacy & Security
Run /plugin install imessage@claude-plugins-official in Claude Code
Exit and relaunch with claude --channels plugin:imessage@claude-plugins-official
Text yourself to test, and add other people with /imessage:access allow plus their number or Apple ID

Before you install

macOS only. By default only your own messages get through and others must be allowlisted; SMS is off by default because sender IDs can be spoofed.
